About

I was born on March 31st, 1989 in Lucerne, Switzerland. As a child, I was always very active and tried several sports, such as soccer, volleyball and basketball. When I was 13, my father took me to play Squash for the first time. I loved the fast paced and technical aspects of the game immediately.

Within a few years I got into the Swiss National Junior Squad and was able to compete in both, World and European Junior Championships. My first world ranking was in 2006, and I joined the tour in 2009. 2009 was also the year that I established myself in the men’s national squad and I am proud to have played for Switzerland since then.

After gaining experience and improving my Squash skills I broke the top 100 in 2014 followed by my first PSA final in Slovakia. At the beginning of 2015 I won my first PSA Tour title in France. Inspired by this achievement I reached the top 80 that year.

My goal in Squash is to be a top 30 players in the world while enjoying my time on tour travelling worldwide.

unfortunately not the results I was hoping for in my last three events...

- lost 3.2 in the first round in Calgary, against a very solid Victor Crouin
- lost 3.0 but close to an in-form George Parker in Medicine Hat
- lost 3.1 in a another close match to Shawn Delierre here in Toronto in the first Quali round...

My body was acting up a little bit throughout those 3 weeks and I think that's just stuff I have to start handling better coming back from a long injury...

At this point I wanna say thank you to Eugene Wichorek and Jenna Simmons and Jamie Lannan for hosting me in Alberta... you guys are amazing!!

played the world championship last week in Manchester.. unfortunately couldn't win my match against a better ranked player... have to recover from a very tough start back to the Squash - PSA World Tour... can't wait to be back in January for more...
As you can see interesting shots have been played and the hips feel fine! so that's a huge positive...
